For the Chicken Patties:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup croutons (about ½ cup once ground)
- 5 tablespoons Caesar dressing (divided, plus more for serving)
- 1 garlic clove (finely minced)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
For the Caesar Slaw:
- 3 cups thinly sliced romaine lettuce
- Reserved ground croutons
- 3 tablespoons Caesar dressing
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
For Serving:
- 4 toasted hamburger buns
- Lemon juice (from 1 lemon, optional)
Instructions
- Pulse croutons: Add the croutons to a food processor. Pulse 2-3 times, then blend for 20-30 seconds until a coarse crumb forms.
- Make patties: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, ground croutons, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
- Coat the patties: Dip each patty in grated Parmesan cheese.
- Cook the patties: Sear the patties in avocado oil until golden and cooked through.
- Make Caesar slaw: Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, Parmesan, and croutons.
- Serve: Place patties on buns, top with Caesar slaw, lemon juice, and more dressing if desired.
