Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: Whisk together all-purpose flour and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Make a well in the flour mixture, pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.

  5. First Rise: Shape dough into a ball, let rise in an oiled bowl for 1 hour.
  6. Prepare the Muffin Tin: Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with olive oil or use liners.
  7. Shape the Muffins: Divide dough, roll into balls, place in muffin cups.
  8. Add Toppings: Mix olive oil, garlic, and rosemary. Brush on dough and press dimples.
  9. Second Rise: Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
